That contains, sadly, inconsistencies, untruths, and downright fallaciousness in some cases. Do not believe all that is posted in Wiki, make sure you research your topic/subject elsewhere too.

Nobody really bothers with Wiki because it's well known anyone can edit pages. It's worthless.

The gravity of Earth, denoted by g, is the net acceleration that is imparted to objects due to the combined effect of gravitation and the centrifugal force. In SI units this acceleration is measured in metres per second squared or equivalently in newtons per kilogram.

So what's incorrect there?

Re: If You Don't Think the Internet is Biased....

Wikipedia is my favourite website.

But I don't go there in search of "the truth" on controversial matters.

Wiki is immensely useful, the internet's quick reference to things like ... how many episodes of The Crown were made? who built The Vasco da Gama Bridge? what was the first Beatles record to be made using four-track? ... just examples of things I've looked up today.

Life's import little things.

... another one what? source of biased information? Google is a commercial enterprise, but it can lead you to informative sites. Whether theses sites are biased or not is another question.

Twitter and Facebook? ... I'm not sure how they fit in. Neither are the kind of place you would be if you wanted to learn something.

If the centrifugal force of the rotating earth was greater than gravity, wouldn't we all be flung off into space...?

And if the earth stopped spinning, wouldn't we all be pinned to the ground with the force of gravity?

And shouldn't it be measured in lbs per square inch....? Especially in the UK...?
