Re: Government told to ‘come clean’ over Covid deals by spending watchdog

COVID-19 cost tracker, early 2021 update

https://www.nao.org.uk/work-in-progr...y-2021-update/

The NAO plans to publish the latest edition of its COVID-19 cost tracker, which was last updated on 8 September 2020. It provides estimates, where available, of the cost of measures announced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and how much the government has spent on these measures so far. The cost tracker aims to increase transparency, promote scrutiny and facilitate Parliamentary accountability for government spending.

The last edition of the cost tracker set out the support measures government had announced up to 7 August. In continuing to respond to the pandemic, since 7 August the government has announced new measures, reassessed how much some existing measures may cost and continued to spend against existing measures. The updated cost tracker will reflect these developments.

The cost tracker will continue to be part of our programme of work to report on the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The truth will out .....
