Given that NI came about specifically to avoid such problems it is a puzzle why those who want independence do not just move to Eire?
Surely that way the protesters achieve their wishes and both sides are happy.
Another option of course would be for large numbers of Protestant British to be envouraged to make NI their home.

Here's a thought for you to consider:
We British can legally live in Eire if we choose.
What would happen if (just say) ten million (or more) Protestant Brits decided to move to Eire?
Would they be entitled to a vote Zaphod??
What are the rules?
I bet nobody has thought of that before?😁😁

Spend, spend, spend! Like there is no tomorrow.

The AUS$ still stubbornly high despite the best efforts of the Reserve Bank to push it lower.

Those pesky Chinese still love our iron ore and the price pushes higher.

Surely it can't last?

Eire: As long as you're a resident and register to vote, yes.
NI is as for UK - you must be on electoral register etc.
So yes.
