Isn't it a bugger when you don't know if you're breaking the law by going a walk with the kids?

Nothing else planned.

Have a good day all.
Wonder what the guys and girls who gave their all would make of it.

Re: Sunday Good Morning

Good Morning Everyone From Foxy's World....

Out for a six mile run out in the country before it got light. I nearly turned back, although it was a couple of degrees above freezing, the snowmelt from yesterday had turned the roads into an ice rink. Paths glistened under the street lights, and frozen puddles, and what remained of the snow were just waiting to fling me to the ground.

I persevered, and arrived at the river bridge...
The swirling dark water below was about a foot below the bridge and moving faster than I was. Quite frightening!
I scampered over and nearly lost my footing on the road as it turned a corner and then down a small incline.

The sky was beginning to brighten as I finished the two mile long lap and rejoined the road home. The church clock chimed eight as I returned back over the river bridge, I didn't look down this time. I don't know if the roads were getting better, or I was just getting used to running on the slippy surface. It did seem easier to navigate the bits that were grippy in daylight rather than in the dark.

I arrived home in a very poor time indeed, but at least I had got it done and would not feel guilty about tucking into roast beef and Yorkshire Puds later...A good six.....

PS:- Sorry for your loss Moyra...

Re: Sunday Good Morning

Hi

Mild, gentle breeze and dry here.

No change of getting on the garden, it is still under water.

We have today and tomorrow forecast dry and then it starts agin.

The river is shooting up from the heavy rain and snow melt in Wales.
