My BH used to be a florist.So she never wanted to look at a flower or gift card for a few days.Chocolates were always acceptable though.

While I'm not in a Relationship I have to admit I have a couple of good platonic female friends, and they aren't in relationships either. I do get them a card each and some wine and chocolates. They send me a card too. I'm not a total curmudgeon, I suppose.
