A roadside shrine in Gressoney St Jean in Italy.
We had a lovely evening at our younger son's new house yesterday. We ate outdoors and were able to sit out chatting until we dispersed at about 10.15 pm.

Morning Mike but wow, what an unearthly hour to post.... are you up early or are you up late.

There's been some rain overnight which will thankfully save me from having to water the garden, but there is still plenty of weeding to do. Nearly finished picking my blackcurrants so there's a little respite now before the blackberries and autumn raspberries start.

Another beautiful and colourful picture!
Was a real hot one here today, 39 C. And meant to be the same tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. Weather you cant win with it
39degrees (lovemyboys) and only a few months ago -39
We are getting highs of 27 to 30 during this coming week.
That will be great for us If it is getting warmer in the UK
we definitely need to start putting air conditioning in. Otherwise the death toll for the elderly will rise.

World cup finished tonight. I am backing Germany to win.
Funny that Englands footballing nemesis are both in the final
against each other. Makes me laugh anyway.

Sandy darlin' - I already have a (portable) air conditioning system - a small air cooler which, if you fill up with cold water and a few ice cubes, blows cold air over you - its brilliant!!! and a real life saver!!!

Morning Barry,

Yes, I was a little premature with the morning's post, but had been working on a project for an electrical problem in our conservatory and didn't realise it was so late. Now, after 40 winks, as the saying goes, a nice cuppa has managed to revive me....the OH hasn't missed me yet.

Morning everyone, feels a lot fresher here, had Rain in the night..
It got ever so Humid at times here yesterday, sort of on and off..

Hope the Sun comes back tho, I wont complain, promise..
