Re: Happy Friday Folk.

I read a lot and run into scones many times, what are they? Biscuits? Just wondered. I love biscuits and jam. Another cold day here with spots of showers and wind. I am fully hibernated now. Only leave the house for a Dr visit. New water pill does keep me active on the path to the bathroom. Lost .4 the first day. Not much but a start anyway. Hope all of you have a nice day.

Re: Happy Friday Folk.

buenas dias all. Another sunny day here. I will be going to pick up my friend in a little while for our usual Friday afternoon "wander". We have friends coming for dinner tonight, but thatīs all organised so hopefully no problem there. Only problem so far is me, I seem to have the "sneezies" this morning, hopefully I will be sneeze free in an hour or so. Have a lovely day all.

Scones are small round cross between a cake and bread, floury, usually a single serving. Very nice. Some contain dried fruit, others are plain. Can be served with butter and jam or cream.

Hello everyone,
Not a very nice day here but the rain has nearly stopped.
I'm volunteering at a charity shop this afternoon.
Another great pic Alan.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Re: Happy Friday Folk.

Good morning all, not a bad day here. There seems to be less and less old folks collecting their pensions at the post office these days, I think most of them have it paid into accounts and never actually see the cash, me I like to have a crinkle in me pocket, besides I don't see the point of people queuing up at a wall and pressing numbers into a machine in order to get their own money back, progress?
Take care folks.

Re: Happy Friday Folk.

A belated good morning fellow members on this miserable morning Was in Waitrose by 8am then home and cleaned/washed the fridge before putting the new food in so it is all neat and tidy now.

Mushroom omelette for lunch then wellingtons on and off into the rain with Chloe for her walk

Enjoy your day everyone .
