Some won't agree, but I think it's more often the men who have the biggest problems with saying sorry - or maybe it's just the ones I have known.
I think generally, women find it easier.

I often hear (or see written) a sentence that starts with, "I'm sorry but I don't agree", which means that the person is prepared to dig their heels in until the cows come home without being sorry at all.

I never had a problem saying sorry or apologising to anyone, when you're wrong you're wrong and the sooner you admit it the better you'll feel for it.
