I think the general one sometimes gets over looked, the other one was a bit of a "Oi quick go look"

anyway for tonight Thursday....

Information for Thursday

Excellent chance of seeing the International Space Station at 7:57pm tonight

It will be visible for 5 minutes and at an angle of about 73 degrees for the Midlands, lower the further North you are and higher the further South.

Re: Seeing the International Space Station

I got a really nice view last night very clear...

Information for Friday!

Two good chances of seeing it tonight (Friday)

First at 7:07pm for 5 mins at an angle of 65 degrees for the Midlands

Second at 8:43pm for 3 minutes at an angle of 69 degrees...

Amazing to think in the time between those two sightings it will have gone around the World!

Jazzi you need to face South, look up around the time it says it will appear and a bright white steady light will slowly cross the sky from West to East, you usually can see it by looking up at an angle of about 45 degrees, that is halfway between the ground and looking directly overhead

I did! Look up. Tonight I will try to go outside with my phone, set the compass, check direction, and hope for the best. Yes, I do know it is a solid white light. Have seen it other years.

And it has been a bit overcast in recent evenings, though.

Probably a spy satellite, Realist,
They go round that way for a reason.l
I leave you to work it out.
