Corruption in its ugliest form really.

So if there is no evidence then surely those that were claiming to have been assaulted should now be prosecuted for falsely accusing someone and damaging their reputation . . .

All is not as it seems. What we see in the media is not imo what is happening behind the scenes. These are dark forces, secret societies at work.

No one is saying that he is innocent nor guilty of the accusations made, but to bring a case to court you need hard evidence, and perhaps there was none.

Could not agree more Realist some bugger as it in for Sir Cliff but will we ever find the culprits I doubt it. In the meantime Julie is right he looks so broken and I don't know if he will ever come back from this.
But just to be clear the powers to be have to put out a proper statement actually saying Sir Cliff is NOT GUILTY, rather than this Not Proven verdict.
Because we know how the media will grab onto that and make up more lies.
I am a life long fan of his music I do hope we have not heard the last of his songs.

Thank you for that news Goldie, as I didn't know that.
But like Julie says there, I never doubted his innocence for a minute. He has obviously suffered a lot though with this hanging over his head for around 2 years.

All this seems to have been forgotten...who knows the truth, we certainly don't.

Why ? Perhaps he was invited and like many of us had no idea what was supposed to go on there. Do we even have proof of that though I wonder.

I have no opinion on whether he is guilty or innocent, but I do agree that no info should be released about this type of crime until there is sufficient evidence to charge them. Newspapers make us feel sorry for the victim and turn against the celebrity... because it makes good reading, but where is the sympathy for the celebrity when it is shown that the accuser was lying? I think it is time that we made it clear that sexual abuse claims can only have any real chance of prosecution if the offence is committed at the time of the crime...... not years later when it does nobody any good!
