Thanks Rueben (unusual name for a lady!) I've loads of stories and poems, can't seem to stop myself writing. The first two on here were for entries on the topic My Favourite Place.

Yes it is an odd name for a lady but it's a name I like. It's a sort of combination of two of my boxer dogs named Ruby and Ben.

Hi Eccles..Thank you for sharing...I enjoyed reading all three.They had humour plus a more serious side and agree with Ruben about the unexpected ending's. Looking forward to reading more of your short stories...ruby
