I have freesat that comes with about 5 or 6 film channels and two of them, for the past 5 weeks or so, have aired nothing, literally nothing, but Christmas films!For me, to bombard the Christmas stuff too early takes the shine out of Christmas because by the time it actually comes around, it feels like old hat and I've become 'immune' to it all.

I know I love films and was a bit disheartened when I saw all that being aired. I refuse to join in Christmas acknowledgement until about the second week in December - then I go like a bull at a gate about it

I don't often swear but I have been known to utter the odd 'bad' word when yet another day of Christmas films popped up and I'd mutter 'oh shut the up with these films'
Don't get me started on cooking programmes
