The 7.39

Anyone see the BBC drama 7.39 tonight, about the couple meeting on a train?
I enjoyed that and am looking forward to the second half tomorrow night.

Noted; hope it gets shown out here. Waiting for series 2 of the Bletchley Circle to be shown too.

I was enjoying it but got interrupted when the phone rang. By the time the call was over it was nearly the end. But will watch tonight anyway.

What did you all make of the ending then? I didn't understand why he was laughing when he saw her at the railway station? Also, to me it didn't look as if she was with the same bloke as previously? Am I a bit dim?

She was with another man. I think he was just happy for her that she seemed to be settled without him. I think it was great and I have no doubt it was very true to life for many people.

Now we can get BBC direct from England via our iPad to the big TV ($90 a year) we are watching a lot of BBC programs and saw that one last night.

We really enjoyed it - agree about the hotel! I like Sheridan Smith but I wish she'd get a new hairstyle! She was very different in Quartet

Oh I see, thanks for that EZ. Yes, I've no doubt there are couples that can relate to that too.
