Oh dear, I seem to remember when the majority thought Tony Blair and his ilk were a breath of fresh air, what went wrong?
I, for one, won't be falling for that again...

Re: Robin Corbyn again

The Labour Party needed to get its act together and come up with a coherent policy and a commitment to return to their roots and support the working people of this country rather than sucking up to big business who actually thought it a bit of a laugh that so-called Socialists would stoop that low.

Blair and his ilk have moved on to embrace the contacts and fortunes that they secured in their short term in power and reap the benefits of lying to the very sector of the electorate that believed that they spoke for them.

Corbyn's 66 years old.

He is highly unlikely to attract any voter under the age of 30 and THAT is precisely what Labour actually needs to do in the face of a highly efficient machine that the Conservative Party now is.

In short he's too old, he's too right wing and he's too bloody late! stevmk2

He turned out to be a liar and war monger and more right wing than Mrs T, I don't think we knew enough about him before we voted whereas Jeremy has been around for many years and I can't see him changing. He is a man of principles not in it for money and power like most.

Most like gets his clothes from Principles while he lives in his technicolor dream world of Alice in Wonderland slush. What this country needs right now with current pending problems is sensible unity among the parties, the very thing we are lacking.

I agree with you Julie. He is more like the old traditional Labour leaders of yore. He has a bit of integrity.

More like the old traditional Labour leaders of yore. These days that would be enough to make him totally unelectable then.

Re: Robin Corbyn again

I don't believe sadly he will ever be PM but we need him to lead an opposition to the ridiculous policies we are getting now, the light right we currently have are more worried about their jobs and making money for themselves than helping the people they represent.

We need a credible left to counter the right, not 2 shades of right beating down the poor and disadvantaged..

We have jealousy being encouraged against the poor and disabled as if getting benefit is something to envy so they can take it all away. We need someone to understand people who need benefit are not bad people scamming everyone else. they are people in need and making them try to live on less is helping no one.

Re: Robin Corbyn again

I, too, have been inclined to call him Robin. I suspect that is because Corbyn sounds a bit like Corbett.

Re: Robin Corbyn again

Great idea, if he gets in he can hook up with the joke called proportional representation from Scotland and vote down all sensible Tory polices in the name of naive ideals and the presumption that all Tories are millionaires. He can print billions in cash like a few other countries and we will all have loads of money. We can welcome all his thousands of refugee friends into the country giving them barrow-loads of cash as they step of the boats at Dover. Dissenters will be decapitated by his Jihad friends and all females between 9 and 40 forced to become sex slaves. Putin will fly over the UK at will and raise our heating bills to huge levels, most like taking over most of Chelsea and designating it as part of the Russian State.
The things the perceived hard done by want these days is truly amazing , reminds me of the gossiping old women knitting the scarves .
