No animal of any order scares me *. I respect them and avoid the naturally dangerous ones. Any animal left alone and not threatened will probably do the same with you. And steer well clear of it's young.

*Wrong - there is one. The most vicious, cruel and dangerous animal on Earth. Humans.
Keezoy, you’re in Aussie so you have your own special kind of creepy crawlies. Absolutely respect them and have traveled a lot on the continent but my Conqueror caravan is equipped with bug netting bugs and me just don’t gel.

Nobody wants to lose a loved one. You’re right it’s like death itself.

Best not do it now though.

Regarding fears now at our age now, I suppose I fear becoming old and in bad health, incapable of looking after myself.
I saw this happen to my dear old Mum, and it was so sad.
I also fear losing my beloved dogs.

I have a horrible feeling this thread might get very morbid.
Growing old is not easy. Losing a pet is devastating

Thank you, Minx, but I will give that one a miss! had three very close encounters with lightning - that's enough for me.
