HiIt all depends on your point of view.
I am happy about Leaving, I am not happy about how we have done it.
There will be problems.
Locally the Cold Stores are full, we are dumping things we would normally export.
We have lay offs here, just before Christmas due to hold ups at the Ports.
Us Pensioners are insulated from this, e still get our money.
Others do not.

How can the truth be rabid drivel?I well remember being told I was too thick to understand the implications of Brexit and that I was being influenced by lies; the sophistry of advisory referenda, a second referendum, a peoples vote on the outcome of negotiations, yada, yada.
I voted to leave the European Union, I didn't vote for a withdrawal agreement, a so called trade deal as we already have a trade deal on WTO terms - so all this hysteria and hype to maintain the status quo of a corrupt EU in the face of the referendum result is, in fact, an attack on democracy.
Now tell me what I've just typed is rabid drivel!

As I am proving elsewhere, when faced with hard facts such unbelievers - rather than try to say why they disagree with these facts - resort to denial, evasion and all too frequently nastiness if those first tactics fail.

There are a lot of remainers changing their minds, now they realise just how the EU have treated the UK during the negotiations and how much they are prepared to sacrifice the member states in favour of punishing the UK.
For some remainers, they can never change their minds, the EU is built on their socialist principles and rejecting the EU is rejecting socialism. Then we have the Brexit socialists like Swimmy who keep going on about how they voted for Brexit (sovereignty apparently - nothing to do with capitalism, of course) but they see themselves as some kind of martyr and need to be punished for voting against their socialist principles. That's why they always follow up their posts with some kind of doom and gloom rant at the end. They need to prove that deep down they are still socialists and they have a desire for punishment because of how they betrayed their principles by voting to leave the EU, but as long as the punishment happens to everyone else but them.
Another interesting bit about the socialist remainers is that they want to stay in the EU because of the impact to our economy and tarrifs that will stop businesses from trading. This is the most blatant hypocrisy, using the impact to capitalism as their reason for remaining. The EU to them is an enormous source of wealth and access to unfettered access to 450 million people who they can make huge profits from, tax free for selling their stuff

With the greatest of respect Aerolor, untrue? I beg to differ. Obviously, I could quote literally hundreds of insults aimed at Leavers over the past four and half years, but the article says it all. In fact, you stating that it is a ‘rant’ and ‘biased’ proves that even now you are still not willing to accept the Remainers disgusting behaviour towards Leavers.From day one after the Referendum result, many Remain voters certainly followed the line of the elite establishment as they put us into two categories, Remainers, intelligent, Leavers ignorant. We had to listen to the sneering arrogance of Remainers, with their complete ignorance, presumptions and judgements of Leave voters, all from their immense privileged lives.
In fact, I would also say that Remainers were poor losers and their so-called ‘intelligence’ resorted only to insults as the arsenal they had left.
Fortunately, the real backbone of this country told them where they could shove their second vote!
