EU fishing boat checks!!

According to the Telegraph not one EU fishing boat has been
inspected in the last two years for illegal fishing checks ??
Why is this, surely now is the time they are more likely to be
pushing the limits?
Didn't we put some money in recently to purchase a couple of boats
for this task? maybe they have been kept busy running the migrant
ferry business ??

I'm afraid that our government continues to let us down. How much more and how much longer?
Are they determined to lose the next GE?
I suppose that they feel safe that there isn't another party that anyone would vote for.
They are wrong!

Re: EU fishing boat checks!!

Here's one for a start from January:

"A Scottish patrol board has stopped and boarded a Donegal fishing vessel near Rockall, a disputed area of sea in the North Atlantic claimed by the British.

The Northern Celt, based out of Greencastle, was boarded by Marine Scotland officials aboard the patrol vessel Jura on Monday as the crew was about to cast nets.

Its skipper was told that it can no longer fish within 12 nautical miles of the outcrop known as Rockall."

Since when are the EU members Ireland "ourselves"?

And if The Telegraph can't get it right about one incident, how much more are they not seeing?

Swiss? The Swiss have a navy?

Seriously, though, I suspect the problem is that the Dutch and French (and others) are good friends of Boris.
They'll get no complaints from him.

I shall almost certainly be voting for Reform UK.

The voting population of this country have every opportunity to do the same if they, too, feel let down by the present government.

They could also vote for Labour, Limp Dem, Greenies, etc, etc, if they feel that way inclined, but they must realise that none of these will do anything to make our lives better.

If Reform UK find they have the same problem that UKIP and the Brexit Party had, then I'm afraid that our voters will end up in exactly the same boat!
I really don't care any more.

Yes, indeed they do: https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/out---a...parade/1653116. Mainly used for crime fighting.
