I put lids back on everything and dry goods are stored in lidded containers.

Lids back on to food stuffs but things like deodorant, shampoo etc, nope. Life's too short to faff with lids

I'm a lid puttitbackoner. And when I open any dry foodstuffs, after use, I put it in a food bag and seal it, whether it's for the cupboard or the fridge.
The thought of foodstuffs open to the elements turns my stomach

And, I've a quirk about food in cupboards. There's no way I ever put food in the lower cupboards in the kitchen. Makes me shudder thinking about.

Make sure you seal the cat food tin, you wouldn't want Pandora's syndrome.

I always make sure l tighten lids on things. I hate it when a man tightens lids, you need all the strength in the world to unscrew them!
