It's difficult -at least for many including myself to come over well on the internet as the written text lacks the facial expression and tone of voice which can mitigate words.
In short body language .
Animals pick up much more on body language and hardly perceptible signals .
Having said that animals get it wrong too .
Even quite evil people are loved by their pets and can deceive humans too.

Yes I agree it's easy to misinterpret posts and people here.

Choosing between animals and people? Hmmm well depends who the people are if I had to choose between Johnny Depp or the cat next door.....decisions decisions
