Re: Highly Perfumed Men

I'll go even further to say that a man who has worked all day and coming home smelling slightly of toil and pheromones...
Well
Erm...

It's not a bad thing

But suited and booted
I love 1 Million
And Chanel Homme Sport on my man

Ooh listen to me... "my" man!
Slapped myself and..
I'm better now!

You would not get a northern man splashing it all over!
All over what? Or, smelling of Roses or even worse, Lavender, like Grandma used to put down her shimmy.

What's wrong with good old fashioned Carbolic Soap or Wright Coal Tar soap lovely fresh odours.

Sandalwood and Cedarwood are rather nice on a man too.

It is noticeable that Farmers smell of the earth and animals
very pleasant.
I once danced with a very attractive clean looking Canadian Mountie in his uniform and he still had an odour of Horses about him.
And the boy at the Green Grocers smelled of Cabbages.

Remember! if you love and eat garlic, it stays in your pores and hair for days even after showering.
I do still have a weakness for XS by paco rabanne, but a fit and healthy man smells pretty good just as he is as long as he hasn't neglected his hygiene!

IMHO Essence of man after a sandalwood soap shower is the best masculine scent.

Re: Highly Perfumed Men

After packing in a boyfriend many moons ago I then couldn’t stand the smell of Brut, which must have been what he used.

But I agree, many people seem to marinade themselves in perfume or aftershave, it assaults my nose too.

Yes Basser,, if you work in a Stable the smell does linger on
but Horse lovers do not mind.

Re: Highly Perfumed Men

Yes Artangel, some perfumes and air fresheners are overpowering and most are manufactured with chemicals.
I sometimes have to leave a Store as the Air Condition make me sneeze.
Nuns and Monks in Italy make natural perfumes with flower petals
Quite expensive.

In summer I put perfumed Rose Petals down my Bra.
