Re: Have you ever appeared on a TV programme?

My mother was a quiz fanatic and went on a national quiz show in the late 60s. She did OK. Got about half way to the big prize. I appeared on TV in 1970 in Perth WA playing in a blues band. I was 18. That's about it.

Re: Have you ever appeared on a TV programme?

Back in the fifties, I was watching a news article about a strike in Trafford Park

One of the people interviewed was an absolute double of me.

He looked the same, talked the same, had the same mannerisms.

We were both workers at AEI Trafford Park.

Friends all thought it was me,

But it wasn't.

Very strange!

Re: Have you ever appeared on a TV programme?

we were on watchdog many years ago because we stood as guarantor for someone and they defaulted and we nearly had our home taken from us, we fought through the courts and the company were stopped from taking our home and Watchdog covered the story. Taught us a valuable lesson, never trust anyone, not even your own family. It was a dreadful time in our lives of horrendous worry.

My cousin Richard O’Sullivan used to be on television a lot. He was in Dick Turpin, Doctor At Large, Man About The House, Robin’s Nest plus others
He also appeared in the films, The Young Ones, Cleopatra and Little Lord Fauntleroy.
