Bosch/Dyson Cordless Vacuum Cleaners

My old vacuum cleaners need replacing with one good one - I'm thinking of going cordless, preferably Bosch or Dyson.

Has anyone had any experience of/got any advice about Bosch/Dyson Cordless Vacuum Cleaners .....

We’re very pleased with our Dyson. It is very versatile. Fitting attachments is very easy.

Hi

The Numatic Henrys beat them hands down.

They are much cheaper and made in the UK,

I've got a Henry, he's the best hoover I've ever had. He's well powerful and didn't cost a lot.

The Numatic HVB160 Cordless Henry is still Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner, though and costs £249.

A Dyson V6 can be had for £200 and a Dyson V8 for £325.

Both Dysons have much higher "Which" ratings than the Numatic, as well.

I have a Dyson cordless, my son bought it for me and I love it.
I use it to do the skirting boards, stairs, car.
It doesn't run for many minutes but long enough to do what I need to do in the time.

It's the stairs and car, particularly, that started me thinking about a cordless vac.

I have a V8 Omah
Once you get one you'll wonder why it took you so long!

It absolutely changes the way you vacuum, no exaggeration
It's ridiculously easy, lightweight and very strong

Re: Bosch/Dyson Cordless Vacuum Cleaners

I've got 2 cordless Dysons and they're brilliant. Even with a dog that sheds and all the associated hairs one of them copes better than my corded Dyson.

I said I have 2, one is better than the other. The not so brilliant one is quite old now and was one of the first cordless Dysons to be marketed but even though it's old and not as efficient as the other, newer model it still works well.

The 2 models I have are.....a DC 44 which is the not so good one and a V6 which is the better one. They are both light, easy to operate, easy to change tools and quiet!
