I don't know how you can decide an important vote on a show of hands, particularly if it seems to be very close. Either, actually physically count them methodically, or else have a card vote or ballot. We live in the digital age for goodness sake, not in the stone age like The Labour Party.

Funny how they accepted a show of hands as a valid majority but not a clear majority in the referendum which was conducted correctly.

I think the show of hands comes from their ancient roots
in the unions John? Of course unions have a different
purpose now!!
