Much is down to how you understand what such promises really mean.Take the 4 day working week promise.
Does Corbyn mean that the workers will just work 4 days but for more hours each day, but still put in the same total hours per week?
That might be attractive to many.
Or does he mean same daily hours but only for 4 days? This would mean that employers would have to employ more people, pay out double the current wages, and the prices would have to go up (and become less competitive).
