Trans people want to return to original gender

There are an increasing amount of trans people wanting to return to their original sex.

Some of these people have serious mental issues and going through painful surgery for nothing.

I'm not suprised to read this really

yep, but I think they shouldn't be able to have the return transition op on NHS. the world is well and truly effed up.

I agree. That's why they have all the counselling when they are thinking about doing it. Obviously, that doesn't always work.

Aye, The mental health problems of some of these people obviously runs much deeper than what is between their legs as some think if they have a penis instead of a vagina and vice versa that will be the end of their problems. The counselling and mental evaluation should be much more intense before they carry out such a life changing and dangerous operation

None of this should be done on the NHS. If they had to pay for it themselves they might think a bit longer about it before going ahead!

Absolutely not, pay privately for any further surgery or therapy, there has to be a limit for the NHS.

Nobody should assume they can have treatment while others have to wait or are refused. Stricter guidelines are needed making it clear that any problems are dealt with privately, when limit has been reached.

Exactly this.

It's the same type of mentality (IMO) that you think (archetypally) that having a new kitchen will solve your marital problems. It won't - ever bought yourself something to cheer yourself up and it didn't work? Same here. The transgender person may think that it will make them happy if they change sex but ultimately, it doesn't.

I was born 1948; In my teens you were male female gay or Ac/Dc now you have all these different genders and now we have a lot of the younger generation having mental break downs cant make up their minds about their gender if they want to change their gender back fine let them just make sure the pay the bill

That's the trouble with fads and bandwagons. Too many people want to have a part in them.
