Wouldn't the grandkids love this model train set, or even the grandads for that matter...

Yes its great. I saw that the other week on BBC. Michael Portillo went to see it on his Railway Trips around Europe. He even had a little model done with his face and his blue suit and pink shirt on. You will have to look hard to find him though

My son is deeply into creating his model train set. Years ago a train did pass behind our farm, a narrow gauge local called Handy Bros Line. Son is building that train track as it was in the late '4o's and the buildings along the way...he has our farm pretty well done...



He tells me there is 180 pieces in the roof on the barn. All as accurite as he can make it. I just thought..does he remember there was a white picket fence around the house? He was 5 yrs old when we moved here. He is 58 now.

The miniature of anything fascinates me. Life size trains leave me cold but I'll go out of my way to see a working mini.ature railway
