On all the blurb it is pictured standing amongst beautiful sunsets.
In reality it is grey ,wet & usually windy.

However the whole site is being made more visitor friendly & more care will be taken of what is the oldest known man made construction in the world

Never seen them, the Northern lights were in my eyes, I'll just wait for the next renaissance.

That's very interesting but from what I remember it doesn't get light until after 8am so you end up with only 8 hours of daylight.

Where I live we get over 14 hours of daylight at this time of year and in mid winter about 10 hours daylight (from memory)

I know which I prefer.

Mind you it has been a warm year.
