I'm too old and not supple enough to do either Azz. Looks like it takes too much energy - no wonder they are slim.

It is great to see kids enjoying themselves and fusing dance styles in creative ways. Make the most of it kids

Doing the 'Twist' is what helps me to stay young and the music is a lot better.

Great video clips, PPH, Azz and AB

I loved doing the Twist at the Locarno, Glasgow - shoes off and away I would go! Burst one of my dresses (too tight and short) doing it on one occasion!! The seam burst!! Didn't stop me doing the Twist! The memories that clip brought back - as we Glaswegians would say "puir dedd brill"

Definitely - Antibrown the twist was much better. I still do it in the kitchen sometimes when nobody is around to laugh at me.
Just realised, but Chubby Checker looked a lot like Mohamed Ali did when he was young.

There must be something wrong with me coz I love the old stuff but I also love the new stuff? and sometimes I do my housework listening and (sometimes) moving to Trance music courtesy of Ministry of Sound lol. (and dare I say... I am a big fan of Lady Ga Ga?? I do have health issues BTW (spondylosis neck and spine plus other probs) but I do love a varied amount of music to dance to when no ones around lol!

Oh I could-and had some slick moves-many years ago.

I tried in India just over two years back-result? I ruptured my
Achilles` tendon and was in plaster for 6 weeks
