When my sister was in her twenties she travelled across the USA, she was three months there and loved it, she also loved the food and had put on quite a few extra pounds, mostly around the butt area.
When she got home I casually said to her “Glad you had a good time sis, they say that travel broadens the mind”
She put her hands on her hips, looked down, and said “Not only the mind brother dear”
I was glad she said it and not me.

I suppose I am doing the same thing in reverse:
Each time I cross the pond to visit OFF, I broaden my mind.
We shan't discuss the decades I've spent broadening my "horizons" on my native cuisine
