But not too much, or so the wife of an ex-colleague would have it. In our Rome days, this English wife would return to England on occasion and always return saying she didn't like the supermarkets because there was far too much choice to be had it was confusing. The Italian supermarkets at the time were little more than an Aldi or Lidl sized shop, while over here we had Tesco Extra, etc. We used to complain about the LACK of choice in Italy.
