What killed him in the end?

He was raised a Northern lad at heart
An only child set him apart
Raised on working broth and spuds
The die was cast he took the goods

Had a sweet tooth that was sure
Smoked his fill of fags galore
The drink he left that well alone
But puddings, cakes just give him more

And so he ploughed his way through life
Had some kids from his sweet wife
Labored hard and labored long
And loved to sing his own sweet songs

But in the end the sum caught up
He woke and tingled ; had had too much
The arteries blocked had stopped his flow
He was lost no way to go

His wife lived on for many years
Fitter despite same northern wares
Hers was a different way to go
Slower, painful slow real slow

He had a son and daughter fair
Trained in all the latest wares
Of curing ills and taking stock
Of how the body slowly rots

They had the knowledge and the frills
But had re-directed all their skills
Lived away and nursed the strangers
Couldn’t re-direct to family manger

Would he have listened as bell tolled
Probably not he was feisty ; bold
But perhaps it would have been worth a try
To say ‘ we tried; the blind led blind’

Ego……. Awareness of the self
Can compromise your Mental Elf
Not me you shout “My Elf’s Sane”
His abstract thought is just a game
Without much thought, and on a whim
You decide to take a peep within
The Elf’s not there but something is
He’s morphed into a Goblin
Elves Goblins the condition varies
Don’t worry, unless your Elf....
Is away with the fairies.

Poems from the Dark Side?

I just want to be a moaner and a groaner
so what the hell is wrong with all of that?
I just happen to believe that the world is full of sleaze
and there's nothing good it just so full of crap!

I wake up in the morning and I feel oh so depressed
I just light a fag, a slug of scotch and wander in me vest
I never open curtains, or answer phone calls too
I try to watch the tellie but the news is all so blue!

the weather it is always raining and the paths are full of poo
and the vandals are all vandalizing (cries) "I just don't know what to do"
I switch on the computer and I clack on message yack
At last I've found a haven of like souls who love the crap

I love it when they post a thought, and just complain about some rort
they say they don't like this and that -and someone should fix it - go in to bat
I just love the moans and groans no solutions just bare bones
of all our absolute negative sides it's good to wallow with no guides

so don't criticize us moaners and our cousins groaners too
we like to share our miseries and want you to feel blue too
this world is is not all happy it was never meant to be
so come on El Presidento - wallow in this crap with me!

No good will ever come of it
You'll only end up feeling ****

Go forth, my friends, multiply ? who knows
Kick off your socks and free your toes
Spread some happiness and cheer

my wife who complains I'm a clutterer inspired this:

Some say we are clutterers
Others tidy be
But I just like to spread around
My things so I can see

To me it’s not a clutter
But I well oiled spare parts machine
I can’t work in isolation
All me parts I must glean

Me workshop looks a ‘clutter’
But I know were all is found
I once thought I’d lost a screw
But me head was firmly sound

So to those who think we clutter
A word of advice I share
The ‘clutter’ that you see before
Is a work of art
just spared!

Lovely Gumbud, that could be my anthem, thank God for me shed where I have a sort of organized clutter- still clutter but I can put my hands on what I need when I need it, and the bonus of not getting nagged by the wife.
