Tapestry

Does anyone else on here do tapestry? I have recently been doing cushion covers, mainly from Ehrman tapestry kits and have recently embarked on one which is 12 stitches to the inch. I'm finding it rather difficult to get the needle supplied with the kit through the stitches at the back of the work. I've looked on line for needles but can't decide whether the sizes go from small to large (small numbers to larger ones) or the other way round. Can anyone help please?

Re: Tapestry

I used to do tapestry and embroidery years ago Sue, my eyesight isn't good enough these days.

Re: Tapestry

I had thought of that Meg, but to be honest I have needles coming out of my ears here. That link did tell me that " a bigger size means a smaller needle" - so perhaps that will solve my problem. Thanks.

A well known medical condition. You should see your GP immediately before things deteriorate further.

Done some of that too Purdy, but it takes more patience! Can just about manage small pieces for Christmas cards.
