Re: Which online shops do you use the most?

I'm a new convert to Amazon. Impressed by their service, and follow up on your order. Also free postage on most items. Their prices are extremely competitive.

Amazon is top of my list too though I visit a number of clothing sites as well and buy lots on Ebay.
Boots electrical are good for some large household appliances , like Amazon I find their customer feedback useful.

I said Amazon earlier; just did a price comparison; as usual they are the best, My previous old manual one has been fastened to the kitchen cabinet since '65 so have ordered a new can opener from them ... time to splurge!

Amazon, Ebuyer, Maplin, PCWorld, and I do use lots of sites to review products before I buy something. Check the 1 star ratings first to find problems with a product.

Amazon definitely (is there anything now they don't sell?), their service and prices are excellent. We also check prices on the internet before buying anything from the major stores, and then ask instore if we can buy at their online price, which usually saves a few bob as well.

Our main online shopping site is HMV for records, the next is Amazon and Waterstones to download books.

I bought three dvds, not that old, from amazon for 1p each! P&p was £1.99 though but I still got the three dead cheap.

Re: Which online shops do you use the most?

Amazon definitely, especially for books and we also like to shop online at HMV, Argos and Tesco amongst others. My wife had occasion to do a one off shop at Littlewoods and ordered something at 8pm, tremendously surprised to receive the goods next day at noon, peerless and 24 hours sooner than they had stated. I personally have dealt with Gardening Direct for roughly 10 years and have never had cause to complain, again they provide excellent delivery and all plants arrive in excellent condition.
