Eventually we must all come to realise and understand who and what we are. We are the equivalent of robots that can be programmed to be and do anything. We think we are free, independent thinkers, but we are not. We have ALL been conditioned and programmed from childhood right through to adulthood. We were conditioned by parents who themselves had already been programmed earlier in their own lives. We were conditioned by Sunday Schools, nursery schools, primary schools, secondary schools and so on. We have been programmed by the media, newspapers, TV, radio, DVDs, films and even music.
We are empty vessels into which any kind of programming can be loaded.
THAT is the human condition. That is what it is to be human.
To survive and actually live, as nature intended, requires that we see that situation for what it is. To see that we HAVE been programmed and conditioned and to understand the reasons why it was done, ostensibly to integrate you into a live of servitude and toil, compliance and orderly behaviour.
When we got through school to 6th form most of us were not wondering what life was about, what we might do. We were deciding what career we wanted, what university we might want to attend, what type of company we might want to work for, what kind of money we might earn and what things we might buy with the money. We didn't question it because we'd already been conditioned and programmed to accept that this was the only way of life, the expected way of life, the
normal way of life.
You study, you get a degree, get a good job, spend your time working every day, get weekends off if you're lucky, get a handful of weeks off each year for vacation, pay your taxes, find a partner, get married, buy a house, have kids, keep paying taxes, keep working, buy nice things which really you don't need, keep paying your mortgage, keep paying into the state, into your pension, keep working, keep earning, keep spending.
Along the way you don't really question the authority of the state or take much notice what it is doing. You don't realise that you are not actually free, that you are merely a duped slave existing in a very carefully constructed prison, a prison which gives the illusion of freedom but which is anything but. The media, TV, radio etc feed you rhetoric about politics and the politicians, working for the real masters, do their dance to dupe you. They let you vote in one party then after some time, when people start "thinking" they switch and let the media castigate the incumbent government and convince people that a change is needed and that they need to vote for the other party. Tory . . . Labour . . . Tory . . . Labour in a never ending merry dance. The illusion of choice, the appeasement of a dumbed down populous to allow them to vent their petty frustrations and take it out on the "government" by voting. All a complete sham.
While we slumbered in our conditioned state the real rulers continued their agenda and are continuing it today. Step by step towards the Orwellian totalitarian super state, where all our freedoms will disappear, where privacy disappears, where basic rights disappear.
It is up to us to see that we have been programmed and to start THINKING for ourselves. Just about everything we think we know is just conditioning. When we get an ailment or illness we are conditioned to go straight to the medical industry and services. We don't think, we just obey, we accept their "authority" and do what they say. Sit and chat with any old person and you'll soon be hearing tales of their friend's and family's ailments and issues. They will say things like "Fred
HAS to go to hospital for a test" and "Edna
HAS to take 30 pills every day".
Why is it that as creatures of Nature our first instinct in not to use the products of Nature to heal our ailments? It's because we have been programmed to obey the medical industry and just go straight to them. To buy their products, services, pills, potions and treatments.
We have been conditioned to be dependent. Dependent on the medical industry, dependent on dentists, dependent on energy companies, dependent on the state.
We have a choice, but it is dependent on us understanding and accepting that we have been conditioned, and then breaking out of that programming and starting life anew, learning again, educating ourselves again, learning to live, learning to be free.
