The obvious fact that a lone woman, without a shred of proof of sexual harassment can bring the entire United States Congress to a screeching halt just goes to show how insane our culture has become.

This business of CLAIMING to be sexually harassed, after 36 years of silence, has got to stop. If a woman is sexually assaulted, let her file a police report immediately. If she chooses to not do that, for whatever reason, then she looses all credibility.

The way things stand now, any woman, for any reason, can destroy any man decades after the alleged event.

Of course, this case has nothing to do with sexual harassment or sexual assault, it has to do with only one thing --- stopping the confirmation to SCOTUS of a man the liberals disapprove of. Everyone on both sides knows exactly that.

Entirely right. However, why would you or your daughter wait for nigh on 36 years before wanting some kind of justice to be metered out?

Yes I do have daughters and grandaughters so I certainly would not condone any rape or sexual assault, but that surely is a world away from a drunken fumble at a teenagers party, and in my opinion to confuse the two is doing victims of serious sexual assault by a sexual predator a great injustice.

We have all been teenagers, we have all been drunk, we have all done stupid things. A single thoughtless drunken moment as an immature teen should not cast a shadow over the rest of a whole life of being a decent law abiding member of society.

Let he who is without sin has never been truer....

Sorry Barry , those I am of an Irish descent . I was raised in a
liquor free environment, no smoking or drug as well .

It must be nice to be able to use alcohol and age for a use of
misconduct .


If she is telling the truth , I can't wait to see the outcome of this
thread .

Don't think we will get an outcome one way or the other.

Unless she admits she is lying or he confirms he did do it.

Be interesting to see Monday if she appears before the Senate committee as they have invited her to do, but as she has made a few demands which are unlikely to be met don't think she will.

So next Wednesday the due process of American Law will be concluded one way or the other.

You are absolutely right . Why wait , maybe we can have
a street party , tell all the neighbors about it .

People hide things like that ,out of embarrassment.
Some people even bring it to there grave .
Sure she move on with her life and he moved on with his .
I am sure she replays that moment from time to
time through out her life. Now he on the news and the TV.
She seeing his face , must make her stomach turn .
She is taking an awful risk. if she is lying ,
it would totally destroy her life , if she hasn't already .

It may be that you yourself never made any type of error in your teens, but most of us lesser mortals probably did whether we admit it or not.

However, in reply to your latter comment it might be worth mentioning that men can feel embarrassment and shame too, and neither is teenage stupidity an exclusively male condition..

If she is lying , it will be said right away .
I do believe if she isn't lying there will be some sort of delay.
It will come out , one way or another .
