I don't do holidays snaps Gummy but the wife takes a few now and then, she shows them on the big screen to her sisters on "Coffee mornings", coffee my arse.
I don't relish weddings royal or otherwise, but the misses and two of her sisters have it on, any excuse for a gargle with the dolly sisters. I'm sure there's millions of bottles of "Coffee' being drank in honour of the royal pair today, I do wish the couple the best of luck though, you need luck in marriage. rich or poor.
I'm out in the cabin looking at the racing on my small TV, the weather is terrific and the few cool cans of Guinness draught are going down a treat, here's lookin' at you kids!
I'm down to ten smokes a day now, no more cigars, nothing to do with me health or anything like that, it just seemed to happen naturally that I don't feel like smoking as much as i used to, strange that, I'm becoming a much more relaxed person altogether, and Phyllis says she's noticed it too.
Better quit now while i'm still in her good book, just in case she reads this, sly creatures some women are when your not around.

my DIL has just returned from the big smoke with a Macanudo - cafe hyde park cigar made in Dominican republic 13cm long and 2cm across - I need a really special moment to light up as it will last well beyond an hour and I can't be disturbed - it must be burnt well before lighting up proper of course and the ash carefully preserved!

well we watched the wedding of course at 6ish are time and for me it became just a simple wedding for two lovely young people in love who were putting up with all the razzmatazza for the rest of us. I would have loved to have been able to see and hear the reception that would have been fun. what a joyous moment for Megan and her mother and how sad that they could not be supported by their own family members - thank goodness the episcopal preacher was there to support them instead! - wow he did liven the show up - reminds me of a story sung and told about " my grandmas hands" by a lovely R&R singer years ago [bill withers]20-05-2018, 12:15 AM
