Out to get Dominique?

Do l detect a co- ordinated low level attack on Dominique Cummins
in our media?
This has warmed up since the tory cabinet shuffle, and seems to
be driven by the labour party and now underground remainers who
are feeling uncomfortable once again as the time approaches to
finally stand up against the EU in the fight to regain our territory
in the coming monthsl
I think that despite the overwhelming mandate to get it over as
demonstrated in the last election and the apparent acceptance
by remainers that the people really know what they voted for, the
hard core remainers have never given up trying to reverse things?
Cummins is seen as the power behind the throne now, hence this
spate of anti- Cummins rhetoric we are seeing in all media forms
at the moment?
I think that as before, our biggest enemy is NOT the EU but is
living amongst us!!

Re: Out to get Dominique?

Cummings is a 'Tech' man and an innovator and will try to drag Whitehall into this century .
He is loathed by the unsuccessful Remainers and those Whitehall dinosaurs who have had their own way for a long time and resist change .
You can be sure there will be plenty to blacken his name at every opportunity.
I think he is a breath of fresh air all be it a rather radical one.

Hi

He does not make friends easily.

Last Friday he told a meeting of all SPADS, right then, I will see half of you here next week.

He was not far wrong.

Times are certainly changing in parts of Government.

So have you picked up the vibes as well Meg?
I expect they will be trotting out his sexual history for the last
twenty years soon?

Leaving the EU would be a huge and complex affair that would require resources far beyond the reach of any political party or normal campaign, and, in this author’s opinion, would be an exercise far beyond Whitehall as it currently works. Those who want either substantial reform of the EU or leave will have to innovate. One obvious idea is to develop a roadmap and the framework for a new UK-EU treaty ‘Wiki-style’. Such decentralised movements have achieved astonishing things in science and could in politics.

When Cummings wrote this the referendum was just a promise from david cameron, and a lot has changed since then, although not in the way the machinery of government works. Whether or not brexit is an exercise “far beyond” whitehall’s ability is something cummings is in the process of wielding out.

So having an opinion about an unelected Spud somehow puts "the will of the people" at risk? Since when did our politicos and unelected potatoes rise to sainthood?

It seems that if someone saw the image of a potato in a big jobby then nobody would be allowed to ever flush it!

Get over the Brexit campaign people - you won and there's nothing left to fight for, but don't lose sight of reality! A spud is just fast food with no substance, short term satisfaction but could give you a coronary if you get too much of it. Best to have a balanced diet.
