wearing masks

On the news this morning, it's saying as well as customers all retail staff have to wear masks, makes sense to me

Now I regret chucking out those WW2 supplied gas masks. As a kid I had a red Micky mouse one.

Agree, especially in food retail, one cough, one sneeze, and poof - contaminated food, cutlery, utensils or surfaces.

I've also noticed staff wearing just the perspex protector shields on their own. Apparently, worn without the mask makes these useless, they are meant to be worn as extra protection, not instead of!
