Your Doc and the local Pharmacy

https://mailchi.mp/psnc/psnc-daily-u...0?e=3f9a280e27

This new agreement will see GP's referring some patients to the local registered pharmacy for medical consultations.
I do not know it this is a good thing or not, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I wonder if the pharmacy can refer you to a specialist then LD ??
Or will he refer you back to the GP? causing another delay before
you get relevent treatment ?

Interesting that the pharmacy whatchamacallit is highlighting this rather than the GP news....why do you have access to this LD?

Re: Your Doc and the local Pharmacy

My local pharmacy already does -

Free prescription collection service
Free prescription Delivery service
Free Flu vaccinations
Medicine use Review
Electronic prescription service
New medicines service (whjatever that is?)

Plus they also do some 'Private Services' for -

Back pain
Urinary Tract Infection
Period stop medication
Seasonal flu vaccination
Anti-Malarials
Ear infections

They are an independent pharmacy, and not part of any chain store ones.
Super lot, and always helpful and efficient.
