Rother in East Sussex

The 7-day rolling average smooths out the daily fluctuations to help identify overall trends. There is a lag in reporting of confirmed cases, and so data in the most recent periods is likely to change.

Since mid-July, East Sussex has had a weekly rate lower than the national average. October has seen the sharpest increase in cases nationally and locally. Within East Sussex all areas except for Rother have at one point in time over the last 6 weeks had the highest weekly rate. Lewes currently has the highest weekly rate and Rother the lowest, although previously Wealden has had a sustained period of being the highest.

if we in Rother can keep covid cases down why can't other councils. it is about the safest area in the UK being almost covid free

Re: Rother in East Sussex

We have the same low figures in Arun area of West Sussex, so reasonable control can be achieved. Our stats show the 7day period up to Oct 25th to be 2 people confirmed and the week previous to be only 1. Our highest was May 5th when 27 people were confirmed.

I suggest we erect a wall across the Thames to stop the northerners entering the South and infecting our end of the country. We follow the guidlines the northerners don't

A find the A27 a fairly effective barrier, especially when it's in gridlock

Tell be about it, either repairs or accidents

one of the worst stretches around here on that road, watch the whole video

being a fast stretch motorists tend to put their foot down and misjudge speed and distance
