a truly brave and humanitarian act of kindness to this poor animal.

I feel so sorry for all of those caught in these terrible fires .

Fantastic wasn't she?Koalas like to climb trees and that's where they go when they are frightened which is not a good idea in a fire.
Some bee keeper was talking on the ABC.He went to check his hives in the bush after a fire and all he could hear were the screams of the animals in pain.

It's worse.He had a bunch of school kids with him.They've had counselling but it's not something easily forgotten I would think.

THanks. We will do our best. There's a dirty big lake at the bottom of our street so if worse comes to worse we'll just grab a row boat and head for the middle.

I'll second that Muddy.

They don't know which way to run, and with their paws burning at every step it must be hell on earth for them.

This actually appeared on the news here Keezoy. I thought she was very brave and it looks as though the little fella is going to make it.
