Definitely. I think you have to have a bee in your bonnet about something to start such a thread. One that just won't go away.

Probably a good thing that you change your mind half way through writing. Nothing really to gain if you are not bothered if anyone replies or not.

Then again if you feel passionate about something it is probably better to chat about it and get it off your chest than adopt a lazy attitude. Can lead to frustration in the long run which is what I found on Facebook. Made me very tense because of it.

yep

Oh bugger ..... 'yep' was too short a reply

Doesn't it always go like that

One of the main problems for me is that once you've posted the most amazing revelation known to man, you have to stick with it and join in with all the comments ~ by which time, you've either moved on or lost the plot

Re: Does

Do it all the time. Usually get the feeling of "why bother" then quit.

Are you for real
Whats the point of a forum if no one posts threads ....
If you're 'bored' why bother coming on here
I've posted a few - mainly light hearted .....but, full marks to Karen who posts the most and varied too ....

Re: Does

I normally find if I am thinking something controversial at least two people on any of the few forums I use will have started a thread about it before I have to, then deciding which forum to debate it on is the only thing I need worry about. Tend to stick to DS for controversy as the modding over there is pretty good and people don't take things personally so much as the number of members is so great.

Everything about that site made me tense That's why I don't go there anymore By the way I don't think you're supposed to mention the name, it's against the OFF rules, you are allowed to call them 'booky face' or just plain 'idiots' if you like
