Re: Italy

As dominique cullings said: why risk the economy of the country when only a few old, unproductive, pensioners will constitute the loss of society?
Will it be a great loss for the country as a whole if all of the posters on this forum die, or could it be an economic gain?

Re: Italy

I supose it would be an economic gain especially for the undertakers !
Probably the same for old farts in the Netherlands too.

It was fake news, blown out of proportion by the media.

Meanwhile, much progress is being made in testing for COVID-19 antigen.

Important to produce a vaccin, and a test to determine if the sickness you had was covid19 induced. But a test to determine whether you currently have it, is a priority. Don't you think?

Both equally important.

The tests are for two different purposes. The antigen test though is a complete game changer.

Omg, another brit fooled! Trt is a turkish broadcaster. Turks are frustrated because the EU doesn't want to pay more for so called refugees in turkey. They try to manipulate sentiments against the EU. In britain that is a wasted effort since you already left the EU, but nevertheless you swallowed it hook, line and sinker.

Brutal, true, but based on the fact that we're an overpopulated world
Covid has claimed :
Cases = 680,000 and rising.
Deaths = 31,905.

Births in the world this year = 37,838,359 ... and rising by the second.
Births Today = 222,427
Deaths this year = 14,743,336 (of which, 31,905 are covid)

Would it prove to be less devastating if the younger, general population, who apparently only suffer a mild dose, had all been allowed to run around with light restrictions and kept the economy going, but just cocooned the old and vulnerable.
The billions that are getting spent would easily have protected particular groups.
Will trying to protect the whole world population prove to be so costly it will be unsustainable or blight the future.

I'll probably get shot down for posting this.

Well said Morticia, and exactly what l have been thinking for some
time!
I have been unable to get any data on the ratio of over 50 deaths
worldwide compared to under 50s, these figures would confirm that
just isolating the elderly only would be sufficient,as you so clearly
set out?
Thanks for the population and births v deaths data!
Donkeyman!
