Re: Matt Hancocks Affair
I have no problem with security cameras as long as they are used for the right reasons. When security cameras are being used to report on a person's indiscretion which has nothing to do with security then in my opinion it is an abuse of power and should be investigated.
I could not careless about the rights and safety of the whistleblower. They had no right to use security camera footage to expose Hancock's indiscretion, that is not what security cameras are there for.
What is clear is that the people who have access to security camera footage within the government building cannot be trusted and whoever leaked the footage should be identified and sacked, because such a person should not be put in a position of trust.
