Re: What book are you reading now?

Not a book as such, but a short story; The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty by James Thurber.

Re: What book are you reading now?

I met a chap at my healing group last week and got talking to him. Nice chap.
It turns out he has just written his first book.
I asked him to bring me a copy to the next meeting, and he remembered.
So this is what I am going to read next.

It is called "From Builder to Healer."

Re: What book are you reading now?

Almost finished reading "Robin the Hoodie" an ASBO history of Britain by Hans Christian Asbosen.

I donīt think I have ever read anything so funny. They are short stories related to historical figures, very much changed from the normal accounts.

First one is Queen Boadiceaīs big night out.

Oliver Twist has become orphan Jamie Oliver Twist. Dick Turpin was a notorious charity mugger. etc etc.

Itīs pure comedy. A good sense of humour is definitely needed.

Oi, what's that got to do with the builder's book?

Are you trying to tell me something?

Re: What book are you reading now?

Hi

I have given up on reading about Understanding Women, far too difficult for my tiny brain to comprehend.

I am now reading a series of papers about advanced Quantum Physics .

These are fascinating, they explain how a complete new Universe could pop up in your dog basket in your kitchen at any instant in time and result in a Bedlington several hundreds of millions of times larger than the known Universe.

Much easier to understand than women.

You are going quite bonkers.
We must find you something to do. . .

Twink, where are you, here's another one we will need to take into care.
We are beginning to notice this after men retire.
