Foxy, we were in Hull about three weeks ago and forgot to look for the blade, I understand it may be gone by May. According to what I've read, I've not missed much but I'd have liked to have seen it.Hope you get your loyalty card stamped at Secret Garden! Not been in the Hull one but I think I've seen it. We like Starbucks in the St Stephen centre as we don't have one in Brid.

Val, last time I looked the city centre was still full of roadworks, but they are gradually disappearing now. It depends where your interests lie, but the museum quarter is always worth a look around. Tie those in between with some of the excellent old town pubs and a perfect afternoon could be had by all!

A couple of years ago we went to the Streetlife Museum on a Sunday. As it didn't open until afternoon we went into the Sailmakers in the old town for lunch and were entertained by various country and western singers, open mic I think they called it. We had a brilliant day.
