Re: Illegal migrant or Genuine Asylum seeker?

Most of the Asylums have closed, so, why do folks seek them?

OK don't answer that.
To draw public attention to the fact that something here is being done contrary to our own best interests.

No-one else is brave enough to do it: certainly not the BBC and, sadly, not even the government who are trying to keep it quiet.

Is that what we British deserve?

The claims the migrants would jump into the water need to be
tested? As they all appear to be wearing lifejackets the chance of
drowning would be very low anyway, certainly lower than the risks
involved in crossing the channell in an overloaded dinghy !!
We need to be more forceful in the way we deal with this problem
and as long as we comply with the current laws regulating illegal
migration such as seeking asylum in the first safe country they
enter then there can be no dispute !!

We all know that by now, surely?

In what way? The burglars have done nothing wrong --- in France. They have broken no laws provided they entered France directly from a Schengen country.

Y'see they've got us by the short hairs. The only possible option would be to end the Transition period now, today.

Come on. We've talked about this before.

They turn a blind eye to the people traffickers on their side of the Channel. There was a YouTube video showing that recently.

Re: Illegal migrant or Genuine Asylum seeker?

Hi

We do our bit, we take in 20,000 a year direct from the camps.

They are all vetted and are genuine and have no money.

The ones crossing the Channel are not Refugees, they are EConomic Migrants with sufficient money to pay several thousand to criminals to get them here.

It is our own fault, stop ihe benefits, send them back to France, which we cannot do adter the end of this year.

After that they are put in detention here until they prove who they are where they are from.

No Papers, no proof, they stay in detention, no legal aid.

Boris is lying again, it is not EU Rules which prevent us sending them back, it is simply our system.

Germany can remove them in 6 weeks, we take years.
