When strange Tradesmen say 'Hello my Lover' I reply, It's Mrs to you. So they then say' Hello Mrs, My lover!

I still wince when I listen to him on the phone to a female on the other end of the line!
As an example a call to the building society the other day went like this as he ended the call.
"Yes my Darling, that's great, thanks again for your help sweetheart, you're a little gem, can't thank you enough, take care my love." Bye.
and that is to an unknown woman in these PC times!
She would have been within her rights to ask him to refrain from using such terms, but thankfully didn't.
I've tried many times over the years to discreetly tell him that he shouldn't use familiar terms when speaking to strangers such as he does,
but it's like talking to a brick wall.
