Sorry to hear this Rhian. You've been robbed of your well earned break. Take your time, and try to avoid the guilt of taking time off when term starts (if it does...who knows???). As you well know, there's no hiding in front of a group of kids. Have known a few teacher friends who went back after getting covid, with a couple of them having to take more time off as they really hadn't recovered their strength well enough.

Yes Dex I know what you mean.
We have one week remote learning from the 4th (which can be harder for subjects like mine) so I'll see how I go..
But no I'm not going to play the martyr believe me
I'd hate to get this again

Good. I dont think people really understand just how difficult and tiring remote/online tutoring is. I had a few online (private tuttees) this year, and found it awkward and exhausting. No way of getting them onto something while you take a couple of minutes getting something else ready or regroup one's thoughts.

I've only just seen this Rhian . How awful for you . I do hope you recover very soon .

My daughter is a teacher too and she has been safe so far
