iPad Air losing internet

This happened a few weeks ago and after phone calls to my service provider and then PC World, the guy at the shop went through a load of checks and told me how to get the iPad back to factory settings.

Been losing connection again for a few hours and I have, of course, forgotten how to do the factory settings thingie.

Anybody know ?

thank you

According to Mr Google who I asked: "How do you restore factory setting for iPad?":

Restore your device

Connect your device to your computer using the cable that came with it.
Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod when it appears in iTunes.
In the Summary panel, click Restore.
Click Restore again to confirm that you want to restore your device to factory settings and delete all data and content.

Mr Google is great!

Sorry RachelI can't help you, I envy your patiences, I'm normally patient but not with iPads and tablets, they drive me round the bend, I definitely couldn't send a post on one of them, good luck with it.

Hi Rachel. Glad all is okay now. I have an ipad but it's not the ipad Air. On mine you just go into SETTINGS, scroll down to GENERAL and click, then scroll down to the bottom and click on RESET.

I usually reboot the iPad and then the router. Darned if I would restore to factory settings and have to transfer all my apps etc.
